On a mission to defeat the deadly COVID-19, the United States has planned to provide ventilators to India. The entire world is also looking for an effective vaccine to beat COVID-19. COVID-19 has inflicted on millions across the world and the mortality rate is already very high.
The only best answer to this would be a vaccine that would help patients across the globe. Both the United States and India are working hand in hand to deliver an effective vaccine. Hopefully, these collaborative efforts would yield adequate results. US-based Gilead, Novavax, and Moderna are working hard towards the vaccine. Indian based pharmaceutical companies include Zydus Cadila, Serum Institute, and Biological E.
Previously India had extended support to the United States by supplying an adequate amount of Hydroxy-chloroquine. For this Donald Trump had already expressed thankfulness to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by tweeting that these attempts of India shall not be forgotten.
In a recent development, to provide support to hospitals treating COVID-19, the Indian Prime Minister had a large sum of money from PM-CARES. This was for the buying of 50000 ventilators that are made in India. The US, in turn, has extended its support to India to provide adequate ventilators. This will help in the critical care of the patients. Well with the US also co-operating in making a vaccine means that it should be out soon.
